Making a racing car for a Formula One fanatic is hectic. To top it off it was for a very good friend of my hubby's for his 30th birthday. This was my first ever attempt at sculpting a car of any sort and I really enjoyed the challenge.

Transformer Cake "Bumble Bee"
I must say, I do love it when a plan comes together. I really enjoyed this cake. It was a slow process (only because I was so afraid of making a mess of it) and it took me most of a day to complete. I find it very gratifying when I have finished a cake and can honestly say "That looks alright." Slowly but surely I am gaining more experience and with it, more confidence. I hope you like Bumble Bee as much as I do.

Princess Castle Cake
This Princess Castle cake was such a delight to make. It took quite a bit of time but what was great about it was that I had an idea in my mind of how I wanted it to look and how to execute it. On the whole it worked really nicely and although it is not absolutely perfect, it is one of my favourites.

Mini Cakes
I was asked to make a cake for 45 ladies at a "journey from girl to Womanhood" ladies breakfast and when it came to deciding on one theme, I hit a blank. Instead, I decided to make each lady her own mini cake....Making 45 cakes instead of one was quite a challenge but the reward was seeing their faces when they each received their own cake.

Thank you to my Good friend Joletta for the last two pics inserted (labelled ladies breakfast)http://photocreation.synthasite.com/
